Edgaras: Alina, could you start by telling us a little about CloudPerform?

Alina: CloudPerform is a consulting company focused on implementing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. We help companies modernize their financial processes by moving to cloud-based ERP solutions and improving how they manage accounting, banking, and reporting.
Our team works closely with clients to ensure Business Central fits their processes and helps them work more efficiently. As consultants, our goal is to identify solutions that bring real value and simplify daily financial operations.

Edgaras: You’ve already started onboarding clients to Bankfeed. What motivated you to look for a solution that automates payment management?

Alina: My background is in accounting – I’m a certified accountant in Romania, and I’ve been working with Business Central for more than six years. Because of this, I know very well how much time it takes to process bank transactions manually.
Without automation, accountants often have to export bank files, import them into the system, and perform manual matching. These processes can take a lot of time, and they don’t always work perfectly, especially when different banks provide data in different formats.
That’s why I started looking for a solution that could simplify this process and work directly within the Business Central environment.

Edgaras: Why is it important for you that the app is built inside Business Central?

Alina: It is convenient that instead of manually exporting files from the bank and importing them into the ERP, Bankfeed works directly inside Business Central and handles this process automatically, without the need to log into banks. It uses the same journals and logic that accountants are already familiar with.
For someone like me who works with Business Central every day, it’s very easy to explain to clients: it’s the standard Business Central journal, but enhanced with automation features that make bank reconciliation much faster.

Edgaras: Which Bankfeed features do you find the most valuable?

Alina: The transaction recognition and reconciliation functionality is definitely the most valuable feature. When working with traditional bank files, it is difficult to recognize customers or vendors because each bank provides transaction data in different formats. Even when using CSV files and mapping rules, it’s very hard to cover all possible scenarios.
But with Bankfeed, transactions can be recognized using multiple identifiers, such as customer name, VAT number, IBAN, or specific text patterns. This makes reconciliation much faster and far more accurate.

Edgaras: That definitely sounds helpful for accountants.

Alina: Yes, it saves a lot of time. I also appreciate that you are constantly adding new features, such as transaction line splitting. It is also great that Bankfeed can automatically match transactions to G/L accounts based on recognized text. This significantly reduces manual work and allows accountants to process bank transactions much faster.

Edgaras: Could you share what your plans are regarding Bankfeed?

Alina: I definitely plan to continue recommending Bankfeed in my future projects. For me it’s not about selling a product – it’s about recommending a solution that truly brings value. When you work with a tool and see the time savings it delivers, it becomes easy to recommend it to clients.
I’ve already seen customers who are very satisfied with Bankfeed. Many of them even want to extend the solution to additional bank accounts, which shows that it works well for their needs.
